Export Sales is responsible for 24 distributors in Central America and the Caribbean. This group works like a zone in managing distributors orders of new product, pricing of product, and coordinating with Logistics team to ensure the product is received as quickly and efficiently as possible. This position has direct responsibility for highest volume distributors (Tier 1). Travel is required to promote relationships, check on dealer facilities, and provide guidance on sales, staffing, locations, and overall management. In order to improve sales and manage inventories, the position requires automobile product knowledge in Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region, experience working in Niguri (sales & inventory) and forecasting future supply & retail sales, both short-term and long-term.


  • Meet Sales Objectives by understanding each markets' automotive industry including segments & models
  • Consolidate sales and production plans, analyze each month and provide management with recommendations for sales improvement.
  • Coach and develop associates to ensure objectives are met and support professional development of each direct report


  • BA in Business Admin, Economics, Sales Management, or International Orientation. Significant automotive related experience.
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in a business environment requiring analytical and research capabilities. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must have proven experience in automotive retail and wholesale.
  • Ability to manage project timelines in order to achieve desired targets & results.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills are requisite to the position. Distributor/dealer management skills are critical to this position.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (excel & power point) is required & Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
