Performs skilled engineering work for district facilities, equipment, and SCADA instrumentation and controls. Assists in planning, designing, and upgrading District water facilities, including treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, canals, and pipelines, with a focus on process control elements. Manages daily maintenance and operation, overseeing the Process Control and Electrical Technician. Must be available for after-hour emergencies and Supervisor Duty rotation. Equipment Operator -
$68,515.20 - $83,345.60/annually Experience loading, unloading, stacking, and carrying materials and supplies for placement. Skills to operate various types of vehicles for hauling supplies, materials, and equipment, including those with power attachments for tasks like shaping canal banks and excavating. Possession of or ability to obtain within nine (9) months of date of hire, a valid Class A California Driver's License and Valid Boom Truck Certification. California State Water Resources Control Board Water Distribution Operator D2 Certification, to operate a water distribution system for the delivery of water for domestic use is required.
