Automotive Technician/Mechanic

We are currently hiring for both an Automotive Technician and a Tire & Lube Technician to add to our team.

Positions available:

• Tire & Lube Technician: 1-2 years experience preferred. Starting pay: $15-$19 based on experience & skill.
• Automotive Technician: 3-5 years experience preferred. Starting pay: $20-$25 based on experience & skill.

 Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform diagnostics
• Perform safety inspections
• Perform wheel alignments
• Repair & replace brakes
• Steering & suspension replacement

• Reading and understanding any customer symptom or issue descriptions related to the vehicle
• Follow ALL MayvilleTire and Service Inc. standard diagnostic steps when applicable
• Follow standard systems checklist
• Perform oil changes
• Document all work on repair  order for entry in POS as appropriate and as directed
• Perform tire installations, tire balancing and tire rotations
• Anticipate any problems or issues with the vehicle in advance or as soon as they are discovered, and communicate any problems or issues to the Service Writer.
• Assure that ALL work is of a level of the highest quality

Experience

Automotive Repair preferred but willing to train

Driver’s license is required.
