Engineering Document Coordinator II or III

Department/Location: Transmission, Engineering & Construction / Bismarck ND

Position Purpose: This position provides technical and support services for the submittal and transmittal processes, and managing the engineering documents and deliverables to meet the future power generation, fuel supply, and power transmission needs of the Cooperative. This position coordinates the Fusion P8 review effort and assists with training lower-level Engineering Document Coordinators and reviewing work, as needed. This position is identified as a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) related position which may allow physical and/or logical access to Bulk Electric System (BES) cyber-related assets or systems.

Qualifications:

Engineering Document Coordinator II: To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have the ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills at a level acquired through the completion of two-year degree in business, administrative assistance, computer science, or a related field, and three years of related experience working with document management applications or records; or a high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSE) and five years of related experience in document management applications or records. Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as document management systems, and scanning equipment is required.

Engineering Document Coordinator III: To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have the ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills at a level acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in business, administrative assistance, computer science, or a related field and six years of related experience in document management applications or records; or a high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSE) and eight years of related experience in document management applications or records. Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as, document management systems, and scanning equipment is required.

Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands: This position requires frequent sitting and standing/walking; and occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, use of keyboard/computer, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination. This position requires good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak. It also requires the ability to develop plans, procedures, and goals; present information to others; and work under stress to complete projects within deadlines. Occasional travel to facilities and for seminars is required.
